  1. Take the language ability exam. For all the programs for immigration, you need to take an English or French language exam and score a number of points to be eligible. These mandatory exams consist of domains such as Writing, Reading, Speaking and Listening.

  1. Calculate CRS Score. The Comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score is used to rank you in the express entry pool. The factors include job experience, language skills, education, etc.

    a) Use Canada tool to confirm eligibility and get your Personal reference code.
    b) Create a GCKey and get your profile into the Express Entry pool.

 

  1. Invitation to apply. Have enough CRS score, and get an invitation to apply (ITA). Once you receive the ITA, then only you are allowed to apply for permanent residence. You will have 60 days to fill additional forms and submit the supporting document post receiving the ITA.

 

 

The Canada immigration process also entails the applicant to submit several documents varying from IELTS result sheets, educational proofs, age proof, work experience certificates, character certification, PCC (police clearance certificate), etc.
